Just got back from the Design Conference that was in Dallas, TX. It was inspiring. Having been there the prior two years not much can really be learned except exposure. For me, that was exposure to Letter press, motion grapics, software like Massive and After Effects, job hunting, doing what you love and getting paid for it, and buffet style banquets. Coming back I now have some research to do on three potential companies I would like to work for, bands I have never heard of that people either let me listen to or made posters for, and updating and maintaining a blog/portfolio. Busy, busy, great.
